Meet Dr. Graber

Dr. Dennis Graber was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD. He attended Washington High School and graduated from Augustana College in 1965. After doing a variety of things after college including flying military jet fighters, he got a late start in dentistry, entering dental school, at the age of 31. In 1978, he graduated from the University Of Nebraska College Of Dentistry and came back to Sioux Falls. Dr. Graber says the great team in his office has helped make that decision to go back to school the best decision he's made other than the one to ask his wonderful wife, Ruth, to marry him.
Like many Baby Boomers, Dr. Graber grew up needing dental work on a regular basis. By the time he entered dental school, he had serious dental problems. After many crowns and treatment of gum disease, he has had years of comfortable, trouble free dental health. He feels people shouldn't have to be in a dental school environment to save their teeth and he has dedicated his career to help others save their teeth. Also, his many experiences as a patient have made him an even a gentler dentist.
Dentistry is constantly changing and improving, so Dr. Graber regularly attends continuing education courses so that he can offer his patients the best possible care. He is a member of American Dental Association, the South Dakota Dental Association and the South East District Dental Society. Dr. Graber and his team treat their patients the same way they would treat their own family.
He has two grown and married children. Becky and her husband live in Ft. Worth, TX, where she is in the banking business. Nate and his wife Kristen and son Rory now live in Burlington, VT. He is an F-16 pilot instructing with the Vermont Air Guard after 15 years of flying F-16s in the Air Force all over the world. Dr. Graber has two grown stepchildren, Baron, working in Sioux Falls, and Rachel, living the good life on Lopez Island in Washington state. His hobbies include traveling (usually to see the kids), driving his restored '58 Plymouth Fury and going to Nebraska Husker games.
